Progressive Voices Concert Series

Since it began in 2010, the mission of the Progressive Voices Concert Series has been to bring nationally and internationally-touring singer-songwriters to Central Iowa who are especially known for their unique voices and musical styles, as well as for bringing both new, original ideas and fresh takes on some traditional themes. We seek out artists whose music can connect with a wide audience by promoting compassion for and celebration of the universal human condition in all its forms and variations. Our artists are especially adept at using the power of music to engage your mind, touch your heart, and uplift your spirit. Perhaps you’ll even be transformed a little bit, too, by the end of the show. They’ll also likely make you laugh a little (or a lot) along the way!
